Technical Business Analyst – Leading consulting / services firm

Do you want the opportunity to work with a leading services and consulting firm? My client is a global company who are looking for a Technical Business Analyst throughout Germany.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Determine the business’ requirements through interviews, data analysis and requirement workshops

  • As you are familiar with the agile environment, you will work hand in hand with the Development and QA team on acceptance tests and user stories

  • Provide regular status updates on the customer and project changes

  • Plan and analyse feasibility studies / impact assessments regarding the implementation of IT solutions

  • Managing the business analysis work stream and interacting with the SME and other BA / IT teams to propose functional solutions

  • Capture the business’ requirements to be used for system development and ensure the successful implementation of the required changes

  • Ensure that regulatory / compliance requirements are met

Required skills

  • You have sufficient experience as a business analyst (preferably in the technical space), with the ability to interpret customer needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

  • You are familiar with working in an agile environment (Scrum)

  • Familiarity with XML, SOA, SOAP, as  well as knowledge of handling Jira, Confluence, XMLSPY, Microsoft Office and UML

  • Deep practical experience with SQL database queries and programming with Java

  • You are sufficiently familiar with Oracle WebLogic, as well as working with Oracle databases and Linux

  • You have very good knowledge of German and English

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is desirable
